1 Information We Collect

Text you enter in the App:

The messages you type into ConfiText are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for analysis and rewrite suggestions.
The messages you type into ConfiText are sent instantly for processing.
We do not log, save, or store your text drafts on our servers after the response is sent back to your device.
We do not sell or share your messages.

Basic app usage data:

We use standard, anonymous analytics to improve the App, such as crash reports, device type, and which features are used.
This data may be associated with your device or account for analytics, performance monitoring, and fraud prevention, but it is not linked to the content of your messages.

2 How Your Data Is Used

Your text is processed in real time by OpenAI's servers to generate tone analysis and rewrites.
Results are shown instantly in the App.
Messages are not stored on our servers or linked back to you.

3 Third-Party Services

ConfiText uses the OpenAI API to provide tone analysis and rewrite suggestions.

      We utilize the OpenAI API strictly under terms that input data is not used by OpenAI to train their models and is not retained beyond the required time to generate a response. This ensures your private text drafts remain private.
    

4 Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data while it's being transmitted to OpenAI. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure.

5 Your Control

You decide which text to enter into ConfiText.
You can delete the App at any time to stop using the service.

6 Children's Privacy

ConfiText is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7 Analytics & Advertising

ConfiText may use limited analytics and advertising measurement tools to understand app performance and attribution.
When required, ConfiText requests permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before any tracking occurs.
You can choose not to allow tracking at any time.
We may use third-party SDKs such as analytics, crash reporting, and attribution tools.

8 Account & Sign-In

ConfiText offers optional sign-in using Apple or Google. If you choose to sign in, we may collect and store your email address (if provided) and a unique account identifier. This information is used only to sync your personalization settings across devices and help restore your settings after reinstalling the app.

If you would like to delete your account and associated data, you can support@confitext.app.

We may retain certain records as required for legal, security, or billing purposes.
